Each month, our Good Stewards receive a copy of Boot Prints, an internal company newsletter. In every issue, one employee is spotlighted. Our spotlighted employee for the month of February is Abby Flatness! Abby is an Accounting Clerk who works from our headquarters office. She joined Good Steward Consulting in August of 2019. Learn more about her below!

Q: What does being a Good Steward mean to you?
A: Being a Good Steward means being mindful of how our actions impact people, the land, and the future, and striving to leave things better than they were!
Q: What are you most proud of in your career so far?
A: How far I have excelled. I never really knew what I exactly wanted to do after college. I am so glad that GSC has allowed me to find my passion!

Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: Just about 5 ½ years! <3
Q: If you had three wishes, what would they be?
A: - To visit loved ones in heaven.
- Own the house I grew up in or at least be able to go back one last time.
- Teleport, you would save some much wasted time when traveling and it would be so much cheaper!

Q: What’s one thing that surprised you about your current role?
A: That it isn’t just about numbers! So much goes into the day-to-day and not one day is the same (which I enjoy!).
Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
A: I most recently finished watching The Silo on Apple TV. I highly recommend it if you are into dystopian science fiction! It is also a book series, which I hope to read soon!
Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list?
A: To visit Germany and to also tour Auschwitz. There is so much to learn about what happened there. In high school, I did research on life as a twin in the concentration camps and couldn’t imagine what that was like.
Thanks for being on the team, Abby!
