20 GW Milestone Reflections - Shane

2024 was a big year for Good Steward Consulting, capped off by reaching the milestone of 20 GW of power in our portfolio a whopping six years early! To celebrate we asked some of our team members to write their own reflections on the growth they've seen as a Good Steward.

Shane Glinski has been a Good Steward since joining as an intern and has become an integral part of the Operations team. He currently works as a Communications Portfolio Manager from his home state of Wisconsin.

The past four plus years with GSC have been nothing short of amazing! From joining the small team in 2019 as an intern for a project close to home, to joining the team full-time in January of 2021 and participating in a presentation that cast the vision for the next 10 years, to now sitting in the seat that I am and being utterly amazed at the growth we've had as a company. In 2021, we could barely fill the conference room at our first office in Albert Lea, MN. Three years later and we have 30+ full-time employees, we work with 20+ clients in 20+ states, and there's no end in sight for the incredible growth we've had as a company. 

The leadership team at GSC has done a fantastic job at shepherding the team to fill their positions, stretch a little further each day, and love our jobs more than we did when we first joined the team. If we can surpass our goal of 20 GW in the timeframe that we did, then what's stopping us from hitting our next goal by 2030?  

The aforementioned isn't what excites me most about working with GSC. The growth is unheard of, the experience has been amazing, but what makes GSC so great is the values each Good Steward operates in on a daily basis. Our core values - Grit, Resolve, Accountability, Creativity, and Energetic or "GRACE" push us to be the best we can each and every day. I love that our values touch on something so important to me and if you work with any Good Steward - whether they have been here for years or just a short time, we all exhibit GRACE for our projects, to our clients, and around our rural communities. These past four+ years have been so great because of "GRACE" and I'm excited to see where those values continue to grow us in the lifetime of Good Steward Consulting.
